Best known for his role on FX’s Damages, opposite Rose Byrne and Glenn Close, Boston native Noah Bean took a break from acting to play model in our spring fashion issue. We caught up with him again while he was busy shooting Nikita in Toronto for the scoop on some of his favorite Boston hangouts and the one thing he can’t live without. Hint: it’s not his Blackberry.
Have you ever done a fashion shoot before?
NOAH BEAN: Not like that. I did a thing for J.Crew’s men’s catalogue last year but it was a little less fashion-y. I had a blast. Bell [Soto], the photographer, was really cool and the model was amazing. The first thing I said to her was, “Teach me the ways of being a model.”
How often do you get back to your roots here in Boston?
I was just there for the fall. I was doing a play at The Huntington Theatre right in downtown Boston, which is great.
