Nearly 200 guests attended and raised over $125,000 for breast cancer research. Cochairs for the event were Andrea Brooks, Katherine Chapman, Kelley Doyle, Deb Hoffman, and Lynda Nijenoshn. BCRF Scientific Director, Dr. Larry Norton, hosted the symposium that took place over dessert. The panel was moderated by Dr. Clifford Hudis and comprised of BCRF grantees Dr. José Baselga, Dr. Monica Bertagnolli, Dr. Lewis Cantley, and Dr. Ursula Matulonis, who discussed the topic, Transforming Breast Cancer: How Laboratory Science Becomes Standard of Care.
