The legacy and preservation of Frederick Law Olmsted's Emerald Necklace was celebrated under huge tents in Boston’s Back Bay Fens at the annual Party in the Park on May 16. Hosted by the Emerald Necklace Conservancy (ENC) with more than 700 of Boston's charitable lads and ladies, the luncheon raised more than $560,000 for the Conservancy's Justine Mee Liff Fund. The fund has spent $665,000 in the past nine years on ENC projects. Committee chairs Janet Atkins, Lynn Dale, Holly Safford and event founder Wendy Shattuck were joined by J.C. Monahan and Michael Tilly.
