The Ellie Fund’s annual Oscar Night Gala drew more than 300 guests to celebrate the 84th Annual Academy Awards Telecast at the Mandarin Oriental on February 26. The black-tie event, which sold out in less than two weeks, featured gourmet chef stations, hosted bars, and "Best of the Best" silent and live auctions. Guests had the opportunity to have their photo taken with local actor Chris Cooper’s Oscar from 2002’s Adaptation. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, including Presenting Sponsor Subaru of New England, and guests such as Bianca de la Garza and Brian Kelly, the event raised nearly $200,000 to help local women and families fight breast cancer.
