Dazzle clients and family with this high-tech beauty.

If you’re in a tech-dependent business—and who among us isn’t?—your electronics are never far from reach, making appearances at both client meetings and cocktail parties. And if you’re in a stylish high-tech business, your iPad needs to be as beautifully dressed as you. Such is the allure of this Jimmy Choo iPad case for fashion dot-com entrepreneurs Gretchen and Britt Hackmann. These sisters and recent Babson College alums are putting their business degrees to good use, starting what has quickly generated a beehive of online buzz. In September 2010, they launched their members-only website, gretchy.com, selling designer trade-in dresses, followed soon after by the announcement of their blog-a-zine, nubry.com (yes, like Newbury). On the heels of that success, this dynamic duo also partnered with cult virtualcloset app, Stylish Girl, to unveil the first-ever fashion pop-up shop held worldwide—an endeavor that resulted in sold-out inventory in under 36 hours. Gretchen chalks up much of their success to frequent blogging: “That’s what interests your customer to shop with you, understand you, and be on the same level; it’s a relationship,” she explains. Needless to say, these tech-dependent business owners are closer than most to their iPads. “We’re constantly going to events where we are blogging and taking a lot of photographs. This case would be a huge conversation piece,” says Britt. Consider it the perfect party dress for your iPad.
