Makeup artist Dani Wagener believes the genius behind a great look comes from empowering the woman whose makeup she’s doing. Wagener recently celebrated the grand opening of her spalike Back Bay studio, where she gives makeup lessons and works with models for photo shoots and with clients for events such as weddings, galas and portrait sessions. “I wanted a calming sanctuary where clients could feel at ease,” she says. Her face philosophy? “Less is more as we get older,” Wagener says. “You want to make sure your skin looks great.
