The age of refined dressing for day and night is thriving in Boston thanks to designer Anna Neiman.
Boston women wow in Anna Neiman's dresses like this one in French metallic guipure with a circular skirt in silk-wool on model Nikki Stalling from Maggie Inc.
The European-born fashion designer works closely with clients out of her Wellesley atelier to design the couture pieces of their dreams. “My design is for women who like to be noticed,” says Neiman, who is inspired by old Hollywood and art deco. “I don’t shy away from being feminine. I embrace it!” Neiman turns the highest-quality fabrics, like silk, wool and metallic brocade, into gaspworthy dresses with the use of structured tailoring and bold coloring. She will showcase her new collection, inspired in part by women she adored as a child such as Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn, with a trunk show at The Ritz-Carlton, Boston on November 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Couture dresses from $1,500, 550 Washington St., Wellesley, annanieman.com
