“Along the Charles River is a beautiful run; with all of the activity on the water and people around it never gets old. And no need to carry water, as the Esplanade has a fountain. For a shorter run, I go to the Chestnut Hill Reservoir. There is a nice breeze and a dirt path which takes some of the compression off your joints."
"[I] lace up my sneakers on my stoop in Back Bay and hop on Mass Avenue and run straight down from Back Bay to Cambridge. First I hit Central, then Harvard [and] Porter, and, depending on what I feel like, I may even hit the Arlington line.”
"My absolute favorite place to run is in the early morning along the Harbor Walk to catch the sunrise. I love this run no matter what time of year it is. You can find me out in there in the dead of winter or the height of summer. It clears my mind and always leaves me feeling calm, centered and ready for the day ahead!"
“We have two favorite runs, we call one the 'Interloop,' which is the Commonwealth Mall down through the Public Gardens back over Charles Street down the Esplanade and then down Mass Avenue. The 'Outerloop' is Memorial Drive over the Mass Avenue bridge down the Esplanade and over the Longfellow Bridge.”
