Regardless of what the weather forecast says, spring is nearly here and we’re fully ready to embrace the bright colors and prints that come with it.
Designer Kimora Lee Simmons at a recent presentation of her line.
We spoke with fashion designer Kimora Lee Simmons on her eponymous fashion line and what she loves for spring ahead of her visit to Bloomingdale’s Chestnut Hill on March 10, where her collection is sold exclusively in stores.
“My SS17 collection offers a range of rich and vibrant blues – navy, cornflower, powder. There’s a blue for everyone here and for every occasion – business, casual, and social. It’s the color of the season.” Bloomingdale's Chestnut Hill, 225 Boylston St., 617-630-6000; kls.com
“Codage’s Spring Break was specially formulated to restore comfort and brightness to lackluster winter skin. This serum offers supreme hydration that instantly leaves skin looking fresh and radiant.”
“The collection also offers versatility in sleeve length and shape. We have a kimono sleeve, a fuller trumpet sleeve, an oversized boyfriend sleeve. And sleeveless, too! Women are at their best when we have options!” Bloomingdale's Chestnut Hill, 225 Boylston St., 617-630-6000; kls.com
“My fave fitness drink is Celsius! It promotes the body’s natural ability to accelerate its metabolism and burn body fat. My favorite flavor is Sparkling Grape Rush. It’s a delicious energy boost for people with full – and unpredictable – lives!”
“I love these Wicked Graffiti Eco-Friendly Printed Performance Leggings from Om Shanti Clothing Company. The powerful print is wild and unexpected. Made from 82 percent recycled yarn, the brand’s eco-friendly manufacturing process conserves water and energy during fabrication. It has a great fit and looks chic whether you’re working out or hanging out.”
