Taking place in Wellfleet, this OysterFest is definitely worth the trip from Boston. As an annual celebration of the town’s famous oysters, clams, and shellfishing traditions, this two-day event is filled with New England fare, music from local performers, arts and crafts, and more. Hosted by the Boston Vegetarian Society, this festival features grocery and natural foods store exhibits, free food sampling, cooking demonstrations by well-known chefs, and educational exhibits on protecting animals and the environment.
